A nasty family spat has drew a rift between Jeff's family and me. It was so bad that I once thought that I will never be speaking to them again. That, however, was not what I had wanted deep in my heart. For I know that that will make things very difficult for Jeff. And so, I pray hard for peace, peace within me to make peace with the family. When Jamie came along, I found strength within me from the Holy Spirit to make that first move to make peace, slowly, but surely. And today, I am happy to say that we are back on talking terms. I think everyone is happy with things. I don't think we will forget the lessons from the spat, in fact, I think we have learnt from it and will be respecting each other's boundaries Better. God truly works in his miraculous ways. Amen!

The Holy Spirit
Non-believers often question the existent of the Holy Spirit, God and all...I choose to think that it is because they have not had the privilege to witness the miracles performed, the power of prayer and even more, the lack of faith and trust in Him. You really can't blame them, the world we live in have created false impressions of what miracles are like. IMO, miracles can be the changes that the Holy Spirit effects in a person. If one prays hard enough and surrenders to Him to know what is best for you, little miracles take place within you, without you knowing. I say that because I have been through such a change myself.

I need to remember this...
Read a blog post about a research on what children would like their parents to do with them...will bear this in mind...
- Come into my bedroom at night, tuck me in and sing me a song. Also tell me stories about when you were little.
- Give me hugs and kisses and sit and talk with me privately.
- Spend quality time just with me, not with my brothers and sisters around.
- Give me nutritious food so I can grow up healthy.
- At dinner talk about what we could do together on the weekend.
- At night talk to me about about anything; love, school, family etc.
- Let me play outside a lot.
- Cuddle under a blanket and watch our favorite TV show together.
- Discipline me. It makes me feel like you care.
- Leave special messages in my desk or lunch bag.
